Tercel Moore
Balmoor Director Tercel Moore has over 20 years of finance and corporate finance experience. He has worked with entrepreneurs, plc management teams and institutional public and private equity investors – helping them through the various stages of the growth cycle from early stage funding to IPO and beyond.
Tercel’s CFO experience includes acting as Finance Director for Nordic Land Plc, an AIM quoted client, for three years. Subsequently Tercel was CFO of FLOWERBX, the Luxury online B2C, B2B and Events flower business, having been hired by its Chairman Mark Sebba, formerly chief executive of Net a Porter during its key growth years, after working together to produce its 5 year business plan. During his time there FLOWERBX doubled revenues, executed its Series A raise and expanded across Europe and into the US.
Tercel executed £40 million of transactions for Civitas Special Housing plc, the FTSE 250 listed Social Housing REIT and one of Balmoor’s earliest clients, and co-managed its finance department throughout its £302 million fund raise in 2017.
In his corporate finance career Tercel has worked on AIM IPOs and secondary transactions, due diligence, private equity capital raising, M&A, restructuring, valuation and tax structuring, commercial analysis and acquisition due diligence. Sector experience includes the Luxury sector, technology, real estate, agriculture, resources, waste management and clean technology, healthcare and specialty chemicals.
Tercel spent 10 years at SP Angel Corporate Finance, latterly as a Senior Director, as part of the founding team with former colleagues from HSBC; this followed roles at Kraton Polymers, a division of Shell Plc acquired by private equity, HSBC Investment Bank, Rees Pollock and PwC.
Tercel is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and PPE graduate of Oxford University.
